Fresh off the release of their second full length album, Hippies, Harlem are gaining a ton of attention for their simplistic style and back to basics approach to music.
Harlem’s latest album is perfect for summer, as it slightly plays off of that ever-popular rock and roll beach sound that has hit the market over the course of the past year.
This trio is easy yet abrasive with a vague sense of edgy thrown in. Not much of what they do is new, but when you take an old standby and perfect it like they have with Hippies, you walk away with something great.
Here is the album’s first video track for the song Gay Human Bones. Apparantly it’s the name of the group’s basketball team, and they’re extremely tough to beat at home.
